The goal of this project was to test how I could make normal maps and lighting work in a 2D game. Shader created in Unity and normals hand-drawn in GIMP.
This project uses a modified character controller from a Super Metroid demo by David Reyes, the tilesets are modified tiles from Super Metroid Metroid 1, Metroid: Zero Mission, Castlevania, Vampire Killer, and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood.
